'The lovely and peaceful Reach Lode'

There's a well-reported piece in this week's Newmarket Journal about 'The lovely and peaceful Reach Lode.'

I believe that the National Trust is well on its way to ruining the lovely and peaceful Reach Lode. Here is a picture of Reach Lode in all of its loveliness and peacefulness. It is a wonderful wildlife haven as well as a boating and walking paradise. The Trust's plans are to attract more people to its 'Wicken Fen National Nature Reserve.' Implementation of the plans is costing millions. Marvellous food-growing farmland is being lost. The additional people will frighten away the wildlife. Stupid, innit?

The same picture (one of mine) appeared in today's Cambridge News.
