Just look at that land - it will grow almost anything!

As part of another new YouTube presentation to appear any day soon, I have taken pictures of more of my favourite South East Cambridgeshire scenes. The picture below is of my Fen farming neighbour, Mr Stevie Munden, alongside his tractor.

The plan was to make a play on the word 'wheels' (steady on, wait a bit: it will all become clear very soon) and one can see the tractor wheels. But just look at that land. It will grow almost anything and the idiots who run the National Trust, egged on by Lord (Chris) Smith, the former MP for Islington South and Finsbury, a redundant cabinet minister, and now the Chairman of the Environment Agency, want it to revert to rack and ruin, just at the time when the Rt. Hon Hilary James Wedgwood Benn, the present Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra), is urging British farmers to produce more British food for our British people.

Has the world gone mad? Are our rulers (and our potential rulers) at sixes and sevens on the importance of agriculture? Why am I standing for election to Parliament? All of these questions are relevant right now. In the meantime, Stevie Munden keeps going. God bless him and all British farmers and farming.
