I went to the Foxgloves estate (or 'new Teversham') again today and visited about 200 houses. Not everybody was at home but those who were welcomed me, my leaflets and, more importantly, my independent line of thinking. I still think that it's a disgrace that these good people appear effectively to be ignored by the major political parties. I suppose that some of the party bigwigs think that the estate is not like a conventional Cambridgeshire village. Well, in a sense, they are right, but I can assure them that the houses are splendid and the people even better.
